Technical Theater Production
Technical Theater Production is a job-readiness production series for young people ages 13-18.
Technical Theater Production features intensive hands-on instruction and provides teens with the knowledge and skills to operate professional theater equipment, manage productions, and design performances.

Study production, lighting, and sound design with industry professionals
Train with professional lighting and audio components
Acquire practical skills in show load-in and operation of audio, visual and lighting equipment
Collaborate with peers and artists to plan and stage performances
Classes will take place in Moving in the Spirit's new state-of-the-art theater facility. Students will train on newly-installed, top-of-the-line equipment, gaining hands-on experience that will prepare them for careers as technical experts and production managers in theater, film, and live events locally and nationally.

Filming & Editing Techniques
Like our dance classes, the Technical Theater Production program is designed to support the whole person. Through our youth development-based curriculum, on-the-job training, and weekly team meetings, students will build the skills they need to thrive as professionals and as accomplished, confident young adults.
Training is on Mondays from 5 PM - 6:15 PM.
Monthly tuition is $75/month. Sliding scale tuition is available.
